Insights Discovery
Insights Discovery workshops for stronger working relationships, more self-aware leadership and more effective teams.
Make sense of different working styles. Have the conversations that matter. Find practical ways to bring out the best in one another.
Let's plan something useful
01 / Start with yourself
Why does one person want time to think, while another wants to talk it through? Why can the same message land so differently with two colleagues?
Insights Discovery offers an accessible way to explore these everyday differences. An online evaluator creates your personalised Insights Discovery profile, giving you a starting point for understanding your preferences, strengths and communication style.
In a facilitated Personal Discovery workshop, we bring that profile to life through reflection, conversation and practical activities. You explore how others may experience you, what you contribute and how to adapt your approach.

We each use all four in a unique mix. They describe preferences, not fixed labels or limits on what we can do.
Careful thinking, precision and attention to detail.
Purpose, determination and a direct approach.
Patience, support and consideration for others.
Enthusiasm, sociability and expressive communication.
Complete the evaluator before the session and explore your personal preferences.
Compare perspectives and practise adapting how you communicate.
Choose specific changes to try in your working relationships.
02 / Self-Aware Leader
A useful focus for leadership team away-days and groups of managers developing together.

Your intentions matter. So does the impact you have on the people around you.
The Self-Aware Leader builds on Insights Discovery to explore your leadership journey, strengths, blind spots and the habits you turn to under pressure. It creates room to consider what your team needs more of from you.
The framework explores four perspectives: being centred in your purpose and values, building relationships, delivering results and offering vision. Effective leadership calls on all four, with the balance changing as the situation demands.
Eight leadership dimensions help you identify a useful development priority. In an away-day, we can explore the framework together and focus on the areas that matter most to your leaders.
A clearer understanding of your impact, a focused development priority and practical actions to test in your own leadership.
Christophe's recommendation
“I asked Peter to facilitate an Insights Discovery Team Effectiveness Workshop for one of my large pharmaceutical clients. Peter brilliantly facilitated a large team based in the US, France and India, using his cross-cultural knowledge to make this event a success that was greatly appreciated by my client. I thank him very much.”

03 / Team Effectiveness
A useful focus for intact teams, new teams finding their feet and teams ready to reset how they work together.

Knowing each other better is valuable. Using that understanding to work through real team challenges takes it further.
Discovering Team Effectiveness explores the strengths each person brings, how preferences combine across the team and where misunderstandings can arise. A team wheel helps open the conversation about collective strengths and possible gaps.
We then look beyond individual preferences to four connected aspects of team effectiveness:
Are we clear about our direction, priorities and what we are accountable for?
How well do we solve problems, learn together and adapt when things change?
Do we have the trust and support to discuss difficult issues and stay connected under pressure?
Are roles, decisions and ways of tracking progress helping us work effectively?
Agree what to keep, what to change and how to communicate more effectively with one another. Leave with shared actions and a plan to review them back at work.

Away-days with a purpose
Both Self-Aware Leader and Team Effectiveness work well as a focus for away-days and team-building. The colour language gives people an easy way in, and interactive activities make the learning engaging and accessible.
Thoughtful facilitation gives those activities depth. People have space to reflect, appreciate different perspectives and discuss the realities of working together.
We shape the balance around your group: enough energy to help people connect, and enough challenge to make the time worthwhile.
Insights Discovery with Rockwater
Build self-awareness and stronger connections in a focused session or away-day.
Work on a specific team challenge, with space to review progress and adapt.
Embed Insights Discovery within a tailored programme, connecting insight with feedback, performance, change and everyday leadership.
We start by understanding your people and what you want to improve. We then agree the right profiles, workshop focus and follow-up, including how to build on any Insights learning your team already has.

No. We can begin with Personal Discovery and build the shared language before exploring leadership or team effectiveness. If you already have profiles, we will discuss how best to use your previous learning.
If your team has never used Insights Discovery before, Personal Effectiveness is a good place to start. The Personal Discovery workshop introduces your profiles and the shared colour language, helping people understand themselves and one another. If you have already built that foundation, Self-Aware Leader or Team Effectiveness takes the learning further: Self-Aware Leader explores how people lead and the impact they have; Team Effectiveness focuses on how the team works together. We will help you choose the right starting point for your away-day.
We would agree a realistic focus. A day can introduce the framework and explore selected priorities; more extensive development needs time for practice, reflection and follow-up.
No. Everyone uses all four colour energies. The profile opens a conversation about preferences and choices; it should help people adapt, rather than excuse behaviour or make assumptions about colleagues.
